Terms of Service

1. Direct Contractor Services

N & J Tree Services operates directly with property owners, managers, and authorized agents. We do not operate as an affiliate marketing program, lead aggregator, or lead reseller. When you contact us, you are speaking directly with our own licensed tree care company.

2. Estimates and Proposals

Estimates are provided free of charge based on visual inspection, client photos, or on-site property assessment. All estimates remain valid for thirty (30) days from issuance unless otherwise stated in writing. Any modifications or unforeseen structural hazards identified during execution will be documented and approved prior to commencement.

3. Licensing and Insurance

We are fully licensed with the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB License #1037431) under classification C-61 / D-49. We maintain comprehensive general liability insurance ($2,000,000+) and statutory workers' compensation coverage for all field personnel. Proof of insurance and contractor status can be verified through the CSLB public database or requested via email.

4. Phone, SMS & Messaging Communications

By initiating contact with N & J Tree Services via phone call, SMS text, or live chat, you consent to receive conversational and transactional communications from our dispatch and estimating team regarding your inquiry, job status, scheduling, or billing.

• Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on your service requirements and job communication.
• Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier.
• Opt-Out: You may reply STOP to any SMS at any time to unsubscribe.

• No 3rd Party Sharing: Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS communication will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

5. Property Access and Utilities

The client is responsible for granting clear access to work areas and identifying known private underground installations (such as landscape lighting, private drainage, or unmarked irrigation). Public underground utilities will be coordinated through 811 DigAlert when required for below-grade excavations or stump grinding.
